About MetamoraMetamora is a village in Lapeer County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 507 at the 2000 census. The village is located within Metamora Township. Held annually is Metamora Country Days and Balloon Festival where hundreds of balloons participate and take off simultaneously. The Balloon Festival is held in late August every year.
